We bid farewell to Thomas J. Murphy of Chester, New Hampshire, born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 16, 2025 at the age of 75. Thomas touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As Thomas departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Thomas. Though Thomas may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Murphy (Collins) of Chester, NH; his children, Daniel Collins Murphy (Kelly) of Billerica, MA and Kate Minichiello (Philip, Jr.) of Merrimack, NH; his sisters, Karen Brown (Michael) of Clearwater, FL. and Joanne Kramer of Clearwater, FL.; and his grandchildren, Sean Collins Murphy, Erin Christine Murphy, Andrew Thomas Minichiello and Brielle Elizabeth Minichiello. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Goundrey Dewhirst Funeral Home and Cremation Service (42 Main St, Salem, NH 03079). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Church (40 Main St, Salem, NH 03079).
