He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin White and Mildred White (Smart); and his brothers, Ervin White and Charles White. He is survived by: his wife Joanne White (Hodge); his son Ervin; his stepchildren, Sara and Lynn; and his sisters, Doris Meserve (Allan), Helen Day (Douglas), Cindy White and Tammy Huckins (Dave). He is also survived by his grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
