He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlotte Mae (Bell) and Arno Willhelm Van (Van). He is survived by: his wife Susan; his siblings, Barbara Mirus (Jeffrey), Carol Crowell, Daniel Van Abs (Janet) and William Van Abs (Susan); his nieces and nephews, Katherine, Mara, Anne, Christopher, Peter, Matthew and Thomas; and his children, Duke, Kallie, Cole, Jake and Valentina.
