She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Thies and Kathryn Thies (Walsh). She is survived by: her husband Ronald Olsen of Brookline, NH; and her children, Scott Olsen of Dover, NH, Stacie (Joel Sanborn) of Brookline, NH and Kari (Brian Carr) of Bethesda, MD. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren and many close friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Smith & Heald Funeral Home (63 Elm St, Milford, NH 03055). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery (110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, NH 03303).
