He was predeceased by: his parents, Rebecca Regina McCarthy (Pollard) and John Francis McCarthy of Lowell, MA.; the mother of his children Sheila McCarthy (Tracy); and his former wife Gail McCarthy. He is survived by: his wife Nancy McCarthy (Montecalvo); his children, Tracy Green (McCarthy) of Lowell, MA and Todd McCarthy of Brookline, NH; his stepchildren, Christy Manclark (Jim) of Amesbury and Sara Chapman (Dave Watts) of Salisbury; his grandchildren, Grace McCarthy, Hayden McCarthy, Jack McCarthy, Erin Green and Leah Green; his stepgrandchildren, Hannah Manclark and Ethan Manclark; his daughter-in-law Amy McCarthy (Durand); his siblings, MaryPat Maclean (Dave) of Lowell and Francis McCarthy (Gail) of Winston Salem, NC; his grandson-in-law Andrew McCarthy; and his son-in-law Drew Green.
