It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merle Stanley Lyon of Bristol, New Hampshire, born in Rumney, New Hampshire, who passed away on August 29, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John S. Lyon and Beulah J. Lyon (Colby); and his brother Harold J. Lyon. He is survived by: his wife Virginia D. Lyon (Lowell) of Bristol; his daughter Kelly Fischer (Greg); his stepsons, Austin Graton (Cindy) and Allan Graton (Melissa); and his siblings, Janice D. Thompson (Virgil), Dwight H. Lyon and Stuart G. Lyon (Marie). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, two nieces, four great nephews and nieces.
