He is survived by: his wife Doreen Dickinson Powden; his daughters, Donna King (Larry) of Wentworth, NH, Diana Kimball of Raleigh, NC, Danica Spain (William) of Bristol, NH and Darthea Powden (Pat Muth) of Wake Forest, NC; his grandchildren, Luke, Sarah, Allen, William, Michael and Rachel; his great grandchildren, Evelyn, Wesley, Willy, Hayley, Sebastian and Jackson; and his sister Margaret Kulacz of Concord, NH. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Clancy Strickland Wheeler Funeral Home (1051 Durham Rd, Wake Forest, NC 27587).
