It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Burchell Morrell of Bow, New Hampshire, born in Kingfield, Maine, who passed away on December 21, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harland Morrell and Zilpha Morrell (Taylor); his siblings, Milford, Graden, Raynard Morrell, Pauline Morrell, Winona Raymond, Nathalie Snow and Beatrice McGrath; and also Joan Ware (Phil).

He is survived by: his wife Virginia Trask of Kingfield; his son Michael; his daughter-in-law Patricia Morrell of Bow, NH; his daughter Marisa Morrell; his daughter-in-law Cynthia Dowd of Richmond, ME; his grandsons, Connor of Bow, NH and Spencer of Quincy, MA; his sister-in-law Dorothy Rollins of Augusta, ME; and his close friends, Pat and Gerry Libby of Farmington, ME.. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Maine State Troopers Foundation, 101 Bangor Rd, Unity, ME 04988.

“Dear Virginia and family, we are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Burchell. He was always a great friend and we will miss him. I was proud to have server with him on the Maine State Police in section 3 of Troop C. You could always count on Burch to back you up at critical times. He was one of the most deserving recipients of the Trooper of the Year Award. God Bless you and your family and we pray that God eases your grief. God Bless you all, Love Roy and April Gallant”
