He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Bird and Edna Bird (May); his son Darryl Boucher; and his granddaughters, Ashley Thomas and Amelia Boucher.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Bird (Cabral); his children, Robert Small (Jackie) of Concord, Richard Small, Joel Boucher of Titusville, FL and Sandra Guertin of Laconia; his daughter-in-law Heather Small of Massachusetts; and his siblings, Walter Johnson (Shirley) of Massachusetts, Ronald Johnson (Margaret) of Massachusetts, Eleanor Truit of California, Peggy Krukowski of Massachusetts and Bonnie Greenwood of Massachusetts. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, several great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations in Michael's name be sent to the Laconia Elks Lodge #876, for the National Foundation, 17 Sugarbush Lane, Laconia, NH 03246.
