He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ries and Emma Ries (Gritzke); his wife Dorothy Ries (Adams); and his daughter Shelley Jean Ries. He is survived by: his son Kenneth M. Ries (Marilyn); his grandson Christopher Moone (Lisa); his great grandchild Madison Moone (Anita Littlefield); and his siblings, Rodney Ries, Wesley Ries and Betty Johnson.
