He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Nickerson (Foote) and John L. Hammond; his sister Donna; his former wife Clare; his granddaughters, Gina Duquette, Chrissy Place and Trisha Waterman; and his stepdaughter Joanne Flynn.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Hammond; his stepdaughter Michelle Young; his stepgrandchildren, Heather Buckley, Brianna Young and Kieran Christopher Young; his stepson Joseph Leroux; his children, Erica, Laura Leroux and James J. Hammond; his grandchildren, Tyler, Samantha, Athena, Michael and Tammy; his daughter Amy Vasquez; his grandchildren, Lily Mei Byron and William Byron III; and his siblings, Sandra Hazeltine, Richard Nickerson, Terry Huckins, Linda Lafontaine, Dawn Tinsley, Robert Hammond, Leland Hammond and Wayne Hammond. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
