He was predeceased by: his parents, George F. Ruckenbrod and Janice Ruckenbrod (Hanscom); and his brother John Ruckenbrod. He is survived by: his wife Josee; his stepchild Magie Thivierge (James); his sisters, Sally Boucher (Raymond) and Sandy Couriveau (Marc); and his grandsons, James Thivierge Jr. and Nicolas Thivierge.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Disabled American Veterans Charity (http://www.dav.org).
