He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Michael and Eloise Michael (Damrom). He is survived by: his children, Katie Provost (Ricky), Kelley Lemasters (Keri), David Michael, Jason Michael and Nicole Michael (Jason Stoddard); and his siblings, Vivian DelMastro and Jessie Michael. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
