He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles R. Smith Sr. and Loretta Norman (Wheeler); his stepfather Russell Norman; and his son Timothy D. Smith. He is survived by: his wife Mary Smith (Helzer) of Boscawen; his sons, Charles Todd Smith (Kathy) of Bow, NH and Thomas R. Smith (Melissa) of Dover, OH; his daughter-in-law Dede Smith; his grandchildren, Joshua, Kayleigh, Aaron, Sarah, Daniel, Justin, Megan and Christian; and his siblings, Danny, Mike, Sharon, Dianna, Debbie and Melody. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
