She was predeceased by: her parents, George Lappas and Rena Lappas (Smith); and her husband Laurence H. Dowling. She is survived by: her children, Michael Brien (Lisa), David Brien (Karen), Jean Rodgers (Scott), Susan Ann Brien Klein and Christine Brien; her stepson Jim Dowling; and her grandchildren, Curtis, Ellen Rodgers, Tia Lavertu, Nicholas Brien, Andrei, Daniel Klein, Nathaniel and Abraham Jordan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Catherine's honor to the Pembroke Town Library and the First Congregational Church of Pembroke.
