It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley A. Jackson of Berlin, New Hampshire, born in Peru, New York, who passed away on November 25, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Fountain and Elsie Fountain (Burke); and her husband James D. Jackson, Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, James Jackson Jr. (Karen) of Cadyville, NY, Anthony Jackson (Erica Hoyt) of Berlin, NH, Keith Jackson (Roxanne) of Mesa, AZ, Cory Jackson (Allison) of Berlin, NH and Daryl Jackson (Austin Rhyne) of St. Augustine, FL; and her brother Ricky Fountain. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
She gave of her time to numerous community events, was involved with the music boosters and was very generous with donations to charities.
