He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman P. Hayes and Helen Story Hayes; his brother Robert Hayes; and his grandparents, Jack and Eleanor Story.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila; and his nephew Norman. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
