He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Murphy and Theresa Murphy (Fitzmorris); his wife Carline M. Rayner; and his siblings, Roberta Joudrey, Tommy Murphy and Wayne Murphy.

He is survived by: his children, Kelly White (Jeffrey) of Pembroke, NH, Colleen Murphy of Shelburne, NH and Shane Murphy (Annette) of Buckfield, ME; his grandchildren, Jason White of Webster, NH, Kaitlin White of Pembroke, NH and Kaylee Russell of Matthews, VA; and his brother Warren Murphy (Peg).
