He was predeceased by: his wife Theresa Ramsey (Nicoletti); his siblings, William, Roland, Tony, Leo, Maurice Ramsey, Alice Coulombe and Carmel Cote; his siblings-in-law, Josephine Torro, Jeanette Nicoletti, John Nicoletti, Donald Nicoletti and Fio Torro; and his parents-in-law, Angelina Nicoletti and Rocco Nicoletti.

He is survived by: his parents, Delphis Ramsey and Antoinette Ramsey (Roberge); his sons, Gerard Ramsey Jr (Carolyn) and Michael Ramsey Sr. (Diane); his grandchildren, Tina Demers (Ron), Joey Ramsey (Michelle), Michael Ramsey Jr (Angela) and Angie Woodside (Michael); and his great grandchildren, Nicole Demers, Madison Woodside, Nicholas Ramsey and Allison Woodside. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
