She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Emile Rousseau and Eugenia Rousseau (Roberge); her children, Richard 'Dicky Fortin (Michelle) of Stilwell, KS and Janine Lefebvre (Steven) of Berlin; her sister Jeanette Canuel of Florida; her grandchildren, Meagan Martin (Nick), Emily Fortin, Kayla Fortin, Jenelle Lefebvre and Jillian Lefebvre; her great grandchild Kelsey; her husband Pierre Fortin; and her brothers, Paul and Harvey Rousseau. She was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
From there, she went to the Berlin IGA, now Berlin Marketplace, where she worked until the start of the pandemic; she stopped working only at the advice of her doctor.
