He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard D. Moxley and Jane Idar Moxley (Lay); his son Scott Moxley; his sister Becky Long; and his grandson Devon Parr.
He is survived by: his children, Christopher Parr of Berlin, Chad Moxley (Heather) of Berlin, Jeremiah Eastman of Berlin, Richard Valeriani (Kami) of Berlin and Nancy Greenwood (Barry) of Berlin; his siblings, Steve Johnson (Madge) of Hiddenite, NC, Darlene McFadgyen of Stoneypoint, NC and Sharon Lackey (Jim) of Hiddenite, NC; his stepfather George Charles of Charlotte, NC; his grandchildren, Raegan, Adam, Shay, Derrick, Jaxson and Nickolas; his great grandchild Madison; and the mothers of children, Paula Moxley and Tennie Sahms. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and close friends.
