He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Maurice Hamel and Hazel Hamel (Moody); his uncle Dr. Hamden Moody; his wife Betty Ann Hamel (Joyce) of Belmont; his sons, Kenneth Hamel of Laconia and Christopher Hamel of Dallas, TX; his sister Elizabeth LaCroix of Laconia; his grandchild Courtney Eafrati (Justin); and his great grandchildren, Caynen, Camri of Conway, Kirby Corliss (Justin), Harlow, Cooper of Meredith, Kody Hamel of Meredith and Nicholas (Emily Hamel) of Wilmot. He was also cherished by friends, his grandkids and great grandkids.
In lieu of flowers, Bill requested any donations be made in his name to his revered charity, the Shriner's Hospital, in Boston.
