She was predeceased by: her parent Bruce Ferris; and her sister Karen Ferris. She is survived by: her parent Beverly Ferris (Cutler); her children, Ryan Gilbert (Teena) of Belmont, Jennie Nelson (Randy) of Dighton and Melissa LaClair of Keene; her grandchildren, Lauren, Nathan, Anthony, Damien, Connor, Nicholas, Noah and Logan; and her siblings, Stephen Ferris of Dalton and Sandra Ferris of Plymouth. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations in Val's name be made to the Laconia Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 175 Blueberry Lane Laconia, NH 03246. "Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day…unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear."
