He was predeceased by: his father James Dyke; his parents-in-law, John Sr. and Katherine Drouin; his siblings, James Dyke and Carolyn Brown; and his nieces, Jennifer Dyke and Stephanie Rose.

He is survived by: his mother Doris Dyke (Midgeley); his wife Diane Dyke (Drouin); his children, Heather Irving (Ryan), Neil W. Dyke Jr. (Cheri Snow) and Joshua Dyke; his granddaughters, Allison Dyke, Julia Dyke, Paige Irving and Ella Irving; his brother Gary Dyke (Debra); and his siblings-in-law, David Brown, Pamela Dyke, John Drouin Jr. (Lisa), Richard Drouin (Cindy), Raymond Drouin (Karen), Michael Drouin, Wayne Drouin (Carol) and David Drouin (Kim). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
