He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Chase and Lorraine Chase (Gilman). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Chase (Simpson); his brother David Chase (Jackie); his niece Crystal McIntyre (Kyle); and his nephew David Chase, Jr. (Courtney).
