He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Finn and Helen Finn (Currie); and his sister Ruth Conroy. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Finn; his children, Dana Finn (Donna), Dennis Finn (Janet) and Marianne Murphy (late Thomas Murphy); and his grandchildren, Kayla, Kevin, Ryan and Megan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
