He was predeceased by: his parents, Lilia Carreiro (Tavares) and Manuel Carreiro; his former wife Linda Carreiro (Rodrique); and his son Jason Zaki. He is survived by: his wife Anne (Ross) of Bedford, NH; his children, Joe Carreiro Jr. (Diane) of Salem, NH, Cheryl Bernardo of Boxborough, MA and Sarah Reason (Matt) of Charlestown, MA; his grandchildren, Dylan, Mollie, Lucas, Lily, Isabel, Lilah and Nash; and his sister Lucy Wilkerson (David). He is also survived by sisters and brothers in laws, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Carrier Family Funeral Home (38 Range Rd, Windham, NH 03087). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Atkinson Cemetery (118 NH-121, Atkinson, NH 03811).
