He was predeceased by: his parents, John McClung and Helen McClung (Gogan); his son Steven McClung; and his sisters, Deborah Parrot and Nancy McClung.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne McClung (Kent) of Bedford; his children, John B. McClung Jr. (Diane) of Merrimack, Cathy Stewart (Jim) of Vineyard Haven and Susan McClung of Malden, Massachusetts; his grandchildren, Kevin, Brian, Sean, Jimmy and Megan; his great grandchildren, Leandra, Orion, Omar, Lila and Gordon; and his brothers, O. William McClung (Hannah Jo) of Nebraska and Robert McClung (Gayla) of Oregon.
