He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Lenore Gentile (Feinthel); his wife Lillian Gentile (Worthington); his sister Ruth Byrnes; his grandson John Hopwood; and his sons-in-law, Thomas Hopwood and Douglas Walsh.
He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy Hopwood of Bedford, NH, Deborah Walsh of Bedford, NH and Joanne Gentile (Mary LaSala) of Massapequa Park; his grandchildren, Lisa Wilkens and Leslie Hopwood; his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Jack, Cassandra and Ella; his sister Florence Wallace of Forked River, NJ; and his sister-in-law Ruth Dunbar of Galloway, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
