He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman and Yanna DeYoung, Sr. (Boermeester); his wife Marie A. DeYoung (Kenneson); his son Herman K. DeYoung; and his brother Robert DeYoung.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandy Tombari of Derry, NH, Cindi Mitchell (Eric) of Bedford, NH and Dustie Richard (Mike) of Ypsilanti, MI; his grandchildren, Melanie Davis, Jay Tombari, Adam Tombari, Greg Mitchell, Becky Mitchell, Jenn Ryan, Jeff Richard, Scott Champagne and Andrea Cushing; his daughter-in-law Denise Champagne of Coral Springs, FL; his siblings, Gerard DeYoung (Patricia) of Chelmsford, MA and Joann Ryan (Ralph) of Sandown, NH; and his sisters-in-law, Anita DeYoung of Londonderry, NH and Bertha Morrisroe of Homosassa, FL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
