She was predeceased by: her spouse Francis J. Murphy, Jr.; her parents, Wilfred J. and Katherine V. Lang (Kelly); and her siblings, Everett F. Lang and Claire Chretien.
She is survived by: her children, Maureen Mager (Michael), Barbara Boyle (late Charles J.) of Woodbridge, CT, Elaine Murphy Stege (late Edward R.) of Chagrin Falls and James Murphy of Manchester, NH; her grandchildren, Colleen Kranz (John), Stephen Boyle (Adria), Tracy Murphy and Scott Murphy; her great grandchildren, Charlie and Wesley Boyle; and her sister Dorothy Cronin of Warwick, RI. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
