She was predeceased by: her parents, Perley A. Knighton Sr. and Bertha B. Knighton (Hutchins); her husband James C. Lackie Sr.; and her siblings, Madison Boemig, Perley A. Knighton Jr., Gertrude Mitchell and Lorraine Seluke.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen L. Sherman; her grandchildren, Sandra Adams, Roy A Willey Jr., Beth Sherman, Lisa Sherman and Laurie Sherman Gomez; and her sons, James C. Lackie Jr. (Betty) and Michael J. Lackie. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
