He was predeceased by: his father Richard Gillheeney; and his sister Lynn Mara Gillheeney. He is survived by: his mother Phyllis Melanson (Hein) of Newbury, VT; his son Marc Shane Gillheeney of Connecticut; his brother Shane Aaron Gillheeney of Providence, RI; and his close friends, Ed Bridgeman and Arturo Valdez.
