He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Wheeler and Alice Wheeler; his wife Mildred T. Sullivan of Dorchester, Massachusetts.; and his son James W. Wheeler. He is survived by: his significant other Anita Rehrauer; his children, Terri Hemeon (Howard) of Leland, NC, Bruce Wheeler (Louise) of Rochester, Lynn Flaherty (William) of Londonderry, NH, Richard Wheeler of Wolfeboro, NH, David Wheeler (Shannon) of Concord, Maureen Brideau (Pat) of Barrington, NH and Peter Wheeler (Sandie) of St. Augustine; his stepdaughter Debbie Green (Steve) of Middleton, NH.; and his sisters, Marguerite Phinney (Peggy) and Marsha Strout of Florida. He is also survived by eight children, and enjoyed 19 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 13 great, great grandchildren.
