He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Burton Sanborn, II and Irene Sanborn (Bartlett); and his brother Robert Sanborn. He is survived by: his wife Patricia (Lavoie); his sons, Christopher Sanborn (Jacquelin) and James Sanborn (Meghan) of Ledyard, CT; his sister Judith Whitfield of Bend, OR; and his grandchildren, Savannah, Charles and Mariana Sanborn. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
