It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen M. Courtney in Barnstead, New Hampshire, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 21, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Chancholo and Helen Chancholo (Watson). She is survived by: her spouse Francis Courtney Jr.; her children, Francis Courtney III (Krista) of Dorchester, Jean Mazzotta (Joseph) of Milton and Nancy Southwick (David) of Quincy; her siblings, Mary Hendry (late Donald) of Milton and James Chancholo of Roslindale; and her siblings-in-law, Ann Blake (Ray) of Weymouth and Ralph Linehan (late Ruthie) of Weymouth. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
