She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary McBride of Virginia and Merle Smedley. She is survived by: her husband Bruce Walters; her sister Donna Johnson of LaVerne, CA; her nieces and nephews, Kent, Kendrick Walters, Candace Hampton and Constance Mix; and her friend Pat Johnson.
