He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilhelmina Beer (Hubbard) and Donald Beer; his brother William Beer; and his pets, Sam, Lulu, Pal, Mose, Maple and Paulie.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Beer (McDowell); his daughter Paula Lescure; his son-in-law John Lescure; his granddaughter Emmaline Lescure; and his friend Brenda. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces and nephews.
