He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Nelson and Astrid Nelson (Johansson); his wife Lucile E. Nelson (Johnson); and his son William E. Nelson. He is survived by: his daughter Karen E.; his son-in-law William Smith of Atkinson; his sons, Clifford W. (Kathleen Nelson) and Paul C. (Sherri Nelson); his grandchildren, David, Mark, Holly, Keith, Laura, Eric, Marina and Lucas; and his great grandchildren, Brooke, Levi, Kevin, Summer, Brodie, Ruthie, Pilot and Aero.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to High Pointe Hospice House, 360 North Avenue, Haverhill, MA.
