It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Chester Jr. of Atkinson, New Hampshire, who passed away on November 3, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Chester and Veronica Chester (Anderson); his grandson Christopher M. Chester; and his sister Mary Stacey. He is survived by: his wife Julie Ann Chester (Chadwick); his children, John J. Chester, III (Maria) of Plaistow, William H. Chester (Wendy Hicks) of Sandown, Kathryn A. Saffie (Gregory) of Sandown and Julie Ann Reynolds (Mark) of Pembroke, NH; his brother Andrew D. Chester (Maureen) of Pelham, NH; and his grandchildren, Michael Kelleher, Lisa Marsoobian, Jennifer Conte, John J. Chester IV, Jaimie Musen, Kory Reynolds, Kristopher Reynolds, Matthew Kelleher, Joshua Saffie, William H. Chester, Jr. and Emma Melanson. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to Mr. Chester's Life Celebration to be held on Friday, November 6, 2020 from 4 to 7 p. m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH, under the guidelines of the State of New Hampshire for social distancing and the wearing of masks.
