With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George Norman Valvanis of Atkinson, New Hampshire, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 17, 2024 at the age of 67. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Valvanis and Norman "Nundy" Valvanis. He is survived by: his wife Thea Valvanis (Samaras); his son George Norman; his daughter-in-law Sarah Lucy; his daughter Maria Valessia; his son-in-law Robert Dello Russo; his grandchildren, Olivia Mary, Vivian Cheryl and Nundy Robert Valvanis; his brother John (Kathy); and his mother-in-law Calliope B. Samaras. He is also survived by 1 brother and 3 sisters in-law, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Atkinson Elder Services Transportation Fund (Town of Atkinson, 19 Academy Ave., Atkinson, NH 03811), who transported George to his numerous appointments, regardless of the time or weather, and always cheerfully accommodated his request for a Dunkin iced coffee at the drive through.
