It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Kershaw Jr. (Atkinson, New Hampshire), born in Plaistow, New Hampshire, who passed away on November 26, 2018, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
For many years he was a co-owner of several race horses and thoroughly enjoyed the 'sport of kings". He was also a basketball referee for Haverhill Youth Basketball and Haverhill PAL Basketball. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of forty-six years, Donna (Pierce) Kershaw, a sister Sylvia Cosio of Atkinson, two brothers, Richard Kershaw of Freedom, ME and James Kershaw of Haverhill, and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Life Celebration to be held on Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main ST., Route 121A, Plaistow. His funeral will be held on Friday morning at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will take place in Atkinson Cemetery in the spring. The family requests that memorial donations be made to The American Heart Association, 300 5th Ave., Waltham, MA or to The American Diabetes Association, 260 Cochituate RD, #200, Framingham, MA.
