He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bernard King and Lucille King (Hamm); his wife Gladys King (Pike); his close friend Maureen 'Minnie Havlock of Ashland; his children, Katherine Poehler (Butch Smith) of Sanbornton, Elizabeth Sargent of Tilton, Helen King of Holderness, Heidi Thompson of Queensbury, NY. and Wayne King Jr. (Patricia) of Franklin; and his sister Evelyn Taylor (Jim) of New Hampton. He was also cherished by 19 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.
