He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis O Haartz and Winnifred Haartz (Elliott); his son Joel Haartz; and his brother Elliott Haartz. He is survived by: his siblings, Marsha Omand of Vermont and Karl Haartz of Thornton; and his grandchildren, Weston Haartz and Juliette Haartz of Henniker.
