With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Nelson (Ashland, New Hampshire), born in Rutland, Vermont, who passed away on January 23, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Nelson and Mary Nelson (Houston); and his siblings, Robert Nelson and Judy Foote. He is survived by: his pet Maddie; his wife Janet Barney Nelson of Plymouth; his daughters, Tina Kelly (Jeff) of Plymouth, Angie Avery (Randy) of Plymouth and Dianna Nelson (Mike Vachon) of Ashland; his grandchildren, Katie, Courtney (Mike), Kenady Kelly (Cody), Travis (Megan), Cody Avery (Rebecalyn), Nick, Ben and Andy Vachon; his great grandchild Oriyus Kelly Aristil; his brother Kip Nelson (Polly) of Pembroke Massachusetts; his sisters-in-law, Alice Anderson (Mike) and Sally Coutu; his goddaughter Sara Anderson (Scott); and his son Cam. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
