He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton D. Smith and Rita Smith (Gadue); his brother Arthur "Skip" Smith; and also, George and Muriel Joyce.
He is survived by: his siblings, Clinton (Kathy) of Sanbornton, Douglas (Roberta) of Bristol, Edward (Katrina Gilpatrick) of Franklin, Linda (Sonny Pero) of Mountain Grove, MS, Sandy (David Lavalley) of Concord, Roxanne Danforth of Andover, Lisa (Dana Pearl) of Belmont and Kimberly (Brian "Turk" McDonald) of Northfield; his stepchildren, Angela (David Chase) of Bristol, Alesa Dunn (Shane) of Dover and Billy Dunn of Bristol; his grandchildren, Ryan, Christopher, Jordan, Gavin, Nicky, Connor and Jacob; and his close friend Susan McDonald of Franklin.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smart Memorial (584 W Main St, Tilton, NH 03276). A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Franklin Cemetery (31 Thompson Park, Franklin, NH 03235).
