She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar H. Douglas and C. Mildred Douglas (Winning); her husband Herbert Nickless; her aunts, Elizabeth Winning, Julia Salminen and Helen Phalen; her half-siblings, Elinor Howland, Phyllis Douglas and Stephen Douglas; her niece Karen Howland; and her mother-in-law Dorothy Nickless of Billerica, MA..
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Nickless (Betsy) of Huntington Beach, CA and Ellen Pozzetta (Henry) of Merrimack, NH; her grandchildren, Bethany Blomquist (Nickless), Jared Nickless, Kyle, Lucas and Travis Pozzetta; and her siblings-in-law, George Nickless (June) of Manchester and Barbara Nickless of Fitchburg, MA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
