Murphy; his children, Daniel K Murphy, Brian M Murphy, John X Murphy III, Jennifer M D'Auteuil (Murphy) and Christopher J Murphy; his grandchildren, Isabelle Murphy, Kyra Murphy, Caitlyn Murphy, Megan Murphy, Sean Murphy, Kevin D'Auteuil, Ryan D'Auteuil, Andrew D'Auteuil, Nora Murphy, Bridget Murphy, Molly Murphy, Sara Murphy and Lucy Murphy; and his wife Theresa (Terry).

In lieu of flowers donations in his memory can be made to St Jude.
