He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John McCarthy and Esther McCarthy (Nolan); his wife Rosemary C. McCarthy (Lyons); his children, John McCarthy Jr. of Portland, ME, Maureen Laflam (Robert) of Concord, NH, Carol Luetmer (Paul) of Wausau, WI, Rosemary McCarthy of Center Harbor, NH, Nancy Luongo (Anthony) of Bedford, NH and Stephen McCarthy (Kristen) of Merrimack, NH; and his grandchildren, Catherine, Connor, Michaella McCarthy, Andrew, Rosemary, Renee Laflam, Michelle Horgan, Anna LaRosa, Grace, William, Madeline Luetmer, Nicholas and Addison McCarthy. He was also cherished by his kids and grandkids.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (https://www.theaftd.org), a cause that was important to Jack because of his son Stephen's ongoing struggle with the disease.
