Skoglund and Anna Amelia Skoglund (Mantyla); his wife Kathryn Skoglund (Morgan) of Amherst, NH; his children, Todd Skoglund (Joe Dagnello) of New Bedford, MA and Gail Dexter; his son-in-law Jason of Pembroke, NH; his granddaughter Annelise Dexter; his stepson Andrew Nicholls (Karrie-Ann LaFountain) of Bakersfield, VT; and his grandchildren, Cee Jay Nicholls of Bakersfield and Bree Nicholls of Marlboro, NH..

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Congregational Church of Amherst Preservation Fund which supports the maintenance of the historic Amherst Meeting House which Skip lovingly cared for as a longtime member.

Walt wrote a sympathy message

“Having just learned of Skip's passing and missing our chance to join the celebration of his life, please accept our deepest condolences. Skip and I were in the same pledge group for PGP fraternity at NU and his offer to drive our group to NYC for our scavenger hunt during hell week suggested either naivety or a good man. The answer became very clear both then and over the years, Skip was a good man and fraternity brother who will be missed by all who knew him. Walt & Sandy Alderman 12/5/24”
